Artist’s Statement - “There’s a clear turning point in my work — a shift from striving for perfection to allowing the creative process to unfold naturally. By letting go of control and expectation, I’ve found a more intuitive way of working, where each piece develops spontaneously and reveals its own direction over time.
My practice combines a range of mixed media techniques to explore the human figure — its presence, emotion, and quiet complexity. Each piece begins with drawing from life, working closely with remarkable models whose individuality and energy inform every mark. From those sessions, the work evolves through layers of texture, color, and form.
Being able to create art is a privilege, and I’m grateful for the guidance and wisdom of all my past and present teachers. I am also deeply thankful to my family and friends for their continued support.”
